Matt and Daniella’s wedding photos by Endearing Studios.
The Decorations and Style
Matt and Daniella wanted an elegant, yet comfortable, wedding celebration. So they chose the regal wedding theme color of plum and the bridesmaids wore dresses in that shade.
The exchange of the vows was done under a billowing sheer frame with the turquoise waters of the Gulf as the ideal backdrop. The music was provided by an acoustic guitarist who played music that captured the understated elegance of the night.
The bride’s bouquet pulled together all the warm colors of the sunset and complemented the cool turquoise background beautifully. Daniella wore a gorgeous strapless dress with a corsetted back and train that spread across the sand. She wore her hair in a low bun adorned with white flowers.
Matt looked dapper in khakis, a white button-down, and a tan vest. Nearly all the groomsmen wore flip-flops, the perfect foot attire for a beach wedding… if you’re not going to go barefoot, that is.
After the ceremony as the sun sank lower on the horizon and a golden light filled the beach, Matt and Daniella enjoyed a private moment and a kiss before returning to their guests.
The Reception
Like many of our brides and grooms, Daniella and Matt chose to hold their wedding in the late afternoon so their guests could enjoy a beautiful beach sunset and an evening under the white lights. But in this case, there was one wrinkle in their original plans.
Florida is home to many sea turtles. At night during sea turtle nesting season, the turtles venture onto land and lay their eggs. Sea turtle nesting season spans between May 1st and October 31st. During that time bright lights are not allowed on the beach. For brides and grooms who want to get married during sea turtle nesting season, we have beautiful amber lights that can be used to cast a soft glow on the area but there are many lighting restrictions during the season.
Matt and Daniella chose to get married outside of sea turtle nesting season so they could use our lovely white globe lights that stretch from the balcony to the sand, creating a romantic canopy of lights.
The evening came to a close as the golden sunset yielded to a plum-colored sky and the guests grew tired having danced the night away.
